Teen Reporter Camp

The Teen Reporter Camp is supported by the New Jersey Civic Information Consortium, a nonprofit that funds initiatives to benefit the State’s civic life and meet the evolving information needs of New Jersey’s communities. A first-in-the-nation project, the Consortium reimagines how public funding can be used to address the growing problem of news deserts, misinformation, and support more informed communities.

2023

Teen Reporter Camp 2023 was a 3-day collaborative project between Stories of Atlantic City, Atlantic City Youth Services, and Stockton University. During these three days, 8th–12th graders learned critical journalism skills and spoke with local community members to produce an engaging and meaningful project.
